Old Testament

 One of the oldest books we can use is the Bible. There is a complete version of the bible in the original Hebrew which is almost 1000 years old. An even older copy of the Hebrew bible is located at the Shrine in Jerusalem, called the Aleppo Codex. Parts of every book of the bible (except Esther), and a complete copy of Isaiah, were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls and more than 2000 year old. The Talmud states clearly on several times that if a copy of the Torah has even one wrong letter, it cannot be used and must be buried.
